People are eating healthier imo and fast food has gotten ridiculous fucking expensive. You're spending no less than 7 bucks for a combo on the menu and on average 9-10 bucks.

The whole point of fast food is it's suppose to be cheap and quick.

They damn near great value fast food. Even they sweet tea don't taste right, how do sweet tea not taste right? Apple Pies is the only thing they got left that i'd fuck with, and as soon as somebody recommend a better hot apple pie for the low, i'm jumpin ship on that too. Mcdonalds is literally poison bruh. They're going to have to literally change the business model to stay competitive.

Micky d's will be profitable. Like @Sion said "look at a companies asset and liabilties" If they assets and liabilties are 2:1 then that company is profitable. They got billions and will be ok in the long term. But Chipotle is growing fast. They just opened one in Bay Ridge near where I live. Makes no sense to me tho. Cuz there is alot of authentic Mexican restaurants in Sunset park. I guess the white folks in bay Ridge are STILL scared of going into Sunset.

They pies been garbage since they stopped frying em. Bad press and lack of creativity is whats hurting them. BK & Wendy's value menu>>>. Plus flame broiled burgers>>>>. BK value meal got way more burgers to choose from. And cosign on the prices being too high. It is becoming cheaper to buy groceries and preparing meals that last 2 days.

I think what companies found out the hard way is that during economic downturn, people don't necessarily eat cheaper. But they become choosier on what they eat since they lack disposable income to buy shittier meals.

Qdoba, Jimmy Johns, Chipotle, basically all these casual dining chains offer bigger portions, better quality, and a better overall experience for a price that's not too outta peoples price range. That's why they're exploding in popularity.
