I dug noir in the begining when it was just the two of them doing a mission of the week kind of thing. But when it got to the main story with the secret society stuff it lost its luster for me. But I saw you mentioned this as one of your favorites, have you seen requeim for the phantom. Its made by the same studio and follows the same kind of two hitmen theme but under different circumstances. you should check it out the whole series is one youtube in the funimation channel

requiem for the phantom was Goat, i saw that not too long ago..

other assassin anime's i liked were golgo 13, and gunslnger girl....

i tried getting into el cazador de la bruja...but i can't get attached to the characters...i'll give it another whirl eventually
