new found religious nuts crack me up

New, old most of them crack me up. Not all christians but alot of them are looney in my eyes now. WTF is speaking in tounge and all these people who jump up out of wheelchairs doin backflips right off the bat. I know these people arent the representation yall like, I was christian i know yall laugh at them as well but come on son!!!!! But feel you on joining a religion without having been educated and having researched it.

But for someone who is a christian or w.e religion you associate yourself with you really cannot judge. Most of you are tied to a religion without having researched what is wrong and what is not proven inside it. If you are in a religion and know nothing about what makes it contradict itself, or do not feel the need to search and seek wether it is right or not then you are doing basically the same thing. She would be joining knowing nothing of the biblical world, while you are in that culture but refuse to believe anything outside of that world. It you believe something outside of religion that has concrete evidence, you are likely challenging the word of god and in that case are not really who you claim.

Really baffled me at how she was all of a sudden religious yet all these side issues, and not even knowing what her chosen faith was about.

Had a girl I date years back say to me after we split after 2.5years together that she forgave me when we spoke few years later.. I was unsure why now she was "forgiving" me.. and she said was born again Christian and that she had to forgive people of their sins and my wrongdoings toward her.. i asked on the phone "you want me to forgive you to?????" (as I had no idea what to say!) and she said not necessary as she was already forgiven now as she was born again etc etc and i was just gobsmacked! I said ok.. and thanks... and when i hung up I was just in shock at the whole conversation
