Nas's God's Son= Criminally Underrated

One of the worst albums in Nas catalog.

Only respected because it was a personal album.

A few songs hampered the album:

The Cross would've been a dope song..except Eminem's soulless production fizzled it.
Hey Nas was another attempt to hit the crossover arena but still came out lackluster..
Zone Out was aight but..I still laugh at the House In Virginia line @ Killa Cam, but the Bravehearts was so meh and soured it...

But overall it was one his most personal, introspective albums.

Word family! See, thats why i hav Nasir as GOAT. Wit exception of Pac, aint no emcee can craft a Godson type of album. Take away the 3 songs you mentioned and Godson woulda been labelled Classic. The fact that it came after Stillmatic & Lost Tapes its why its underrated. If it drops today, its hailed as Classic immediately

I feel what u sayin Kid, but IWW Nas wuz in his prime. He wuz murkin every song. But at the same time songs like Made u look,Heaven,Get down,Book of rhymes,Dance are some of hiphop's GOAT Songs

It gets lost because it wasnt great but it wasn't garbage. He could of came better. This is when I said I give him 1 more chance

Near classic for me, only wack songs on the album were Hey Nas and Zone Out
