LMAO, it is inevitable. I tend to leave threads like this alone. The arguments go nowhere.

If we go purely on stats, Lebron will win every MVP award for the next 10 years. The guy has the ball in his hands more than most PGs in the league. He is the ultimate Stats collector. I am a Laker fan, and i would love to say KOBE, but along with his Stats collection, Lebron has the CAVs with the best record in the EAST. Although the EAST is very weak compared to the West
(MEMPHIS who is the 10 seed in the West, would be the 5th seed in the EAST, think about it), Lebron has done what has been asked of him, he has collected the stats and he has won games.

My VOTEis for LEBRON, please dont tell my fellow Lakers fan. I could easily make an argument for KObe, the injuries, the buzzer beaters, the BEST record, missing Gasol for more than 17 games. There is an argument to be made, that is why when the haters come out, shit tends to go NOWHERE. No one is wrong, expect u mention someone apart from KOBE or LEBRON, then u dont watch games and u are just delusional, LOL.

LOL, i am the biggest fan of the Future Laker, KEVIN DURANT, i even made a thread calling him a top 5 player in the NBA, but no. Most improved player definitely, but MVP, no. Dude's team is barely hanging on to the last playoff spot. Like i said in the thread i made, Top 5 definitely.

Ima role with Kobe for the same reasons that you stated and i know this isnt a lifetime achievement award but a player of his caliber cannot go down as having just one MVP this should be his third

Durant first half of the season>>>Lebron, Melo and Wade

The reason why OKC is playing the way they are is because of him.

Do you even watch any of their games?

You take off Durant from OKC that team probably wont even have 5 wins. His team is barely hanging on to the last playoff spot cause they in the West take them to the East its a different story.

LOL, Dude, u know my leanings, and i would really really want to go with Kobe, and like u said, i have made arguments to support the decision, but the NUMBERS Lebron is putting up are very very Massive and one of a kind. I would be the first to knock him if he was not winning, but dude has the best record in the east, should count for something.

But trust me, as soon as the lose the that top record, i will be where my "Lebron aint shit" shirt.

Im a fan if Durant man ive loved his game since back in watching him at UT but what your saying isnt true. Melo has him beat in both stats and team wins so you cant really place durant ahead of him and D Wade plays with the worst starting 5 in the league so he is the true definition of MVP and LeBron is well LeBron......

OK, that is a retarded argument and u should not even go there. I have watched over 80% of their games and although Durant is clearly their best player, the team is freaking freaking loaded. We start with Westbrook, the dude is play out of his mind this season, not only has he improved his shot selection, has started to be more of a floor general. Assist numbers up by about 2 and increasing. At SG, they have BOWEN 2.0 in Sefalosha. Dude guards the best perimeter player every night and they go back to their Hotel rooms and have nightmares about him. He is a top 5 perimeter defender in the NBA. Jeff Green, come on, Do i even have to go into this.

Now, Kristic is where they might have a weakness. But boy dont leave this Mfer open, he will knock down every 15 footer. To counteract his defensive liabilities, they are giving IBAKA more minutes, and the boy is stepping up to the mantle. Solid defender with a growing Offensive game, sky is the limit.

On the bench, they have Harden, the very very reliable Maynor(steal from Utah), the crazy Collison and the previously mentioned IBAKA.

SO dude, dont come here with the Durant is not playing with anybody argument. It is a weak route to go. Wade will kill for that team.

i had kobe but that broken finger is really bothering him. I like that he still out ther playin but i would like for him to rest for a week or 2. we need him for the postseason. That being said, i gotta give it to Lebron

Westbrook at one stretch of the season led the league in turnovers so your statement of him playing out of his mind his void when in particular he is one of the most inconsistent PG's in the NBA he is known to disappear in big games. I had to laugh at you giving recognition to Nick Collison (insert Ed Lover Cmon son GIF) he has not done shit so far since being in the NBA 4+ years. Last season, the Thunder needed all 82 games just to win 23. This year, they did it in half the time and most of the credit has to go with how KD has stepped up his game....take him out for 10 games and this is a completely different team.

Dude, i made a freaking thread calling Durant a top 5 player in the NBA, i am not going to argue with u on how great he is, but dont let the fact that u want him to be MVP let u demean all his teammates.

Westbrook has a turnover and a FG% problem, but on those 2 stats he has improved in December and January. If anyone has a Turnover problem on the Thunder, it is Durant who is 2nd in Turnovers in the NBA. U point out Collison, he is not a great player, but as the 4th option off your bench after Ibaka, Harden and Maynor, he is not that bad. See u could only attack Westbrook and Collison, and only attack them with weak arguments.

No one is saying they will be this good without Durant, but your statement was "You take off Durant from OKC that team probably wont even have 5 wins.", which is totally flawed. Now u may be exaggerating , which i hope. Then again, i watched Kobe take a team with Smush Parker, Chris Mihm, Brian Cook and Kwame Brown as our 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th top scorers to the playoffs and still not get MVP, so maybe my standards are too high.

Durant has a good team, they are not a barren as u make them out to be, and NO Durant is not the MVP IMO.

Cosign

That dude is a problem. I'm starting to jump on that OK Thunder bandwagon. They're a fun team to watch.

I would also say Chris Bosh. I think Bosh's numbers are 24 pts / game, 8 Rebs / game, and he gets to the line the most in the league.

Without those 2 on the their teams, the teams would be basement dwellers.

Obviously Kobe and Lebron get mentioned.
