Does anyone get the feeling that more and more men are saying fuck it and dropping out of society. More boys are dropping out of school. More and more men are saying no to marriage. And in all honesty I can't really blame them considering the fact America is becoming more and more an anti male society.

I blame the parents, mainstream media and pop culture. Its not only the males (unless you got some statistics) but a lot of young sluts trying to be the next Kardashian.

Fellas how do you feel about this? Do intend on marriage? is building a family really all that appealing as it use to be?

If yall love eachother and you know that she's not using you for personal gain, why not?

The advantages of marriage are almost non-existent. The risks of college are starting to outweigh the rewards, while at the same time the jobs that don't require an education are becoming harder and harder to make a living off of.

i don't blame women for becoming more self sufficient. with marriage rates declining what do you expect them to do? i do blame women however, for completely taking over MTV and forcing us into the largely inferior MTV 2.

I bet you thought it was a good idea to present this thread with pride and dignity and I'm gonna double down an say any responses that don't conform to your ideal/s are deemed draped in feelings.

problem with this is not that they are self sufficient....its the reasons why they want to be. most chicks kick that strong woman shit when the only thing they have going for them is a good career. that does not make a strong woman.

their used to be plenty of very strong women with huge influence without a long career and money.

Not planning to get married. Impacts my career choices because I have more freedom. Got friends that feel like they gotta stay at the same job because they have a family and can't really or don't want to uproot shit.

I could give or take family.

I agree completely, it's a major reason why the video game industry is such a force. 20-something women on average have more (useless)degrees than 20-something men, and 20-something women are on average paid more than 20-something men. Less men are going to college and are opting to work just enough to support themselves. These are facts.

There's also a whole faction of women trying to guilt men into "manning up" as if women knew the first thing about what that even means
