His lack of sleep probably explains his lazy ass nursery rhymes. He was much better when he didn't put out so much work. In my opinion the Carter 2 is his greatest work and everything after that was a huge step down. Before the Carter 2 he put out decent material and some of it was above average but it wasn't anything special. This is why I don't get his fans. Where were they during the Hot Boy$ stage of his career because during that stage Wayne wasn't really someone who people looked at and saw greatness. I think Wayne has benefited greatly from over hype.

In Young Money, Drake really has surpassed him. Singles like Always Strapped though, show he can still put good shit out. His new stuff is just a different flavor, less about the streets and more about being made. Inevitable but I'm cool with it
