i agree, songs like pmw, prostitute and lisa marie are great imo. im a fan of this kind of wayne, i just dont care for it when it gets too auto tuned and rock-ish like the rebirth album. i remember a few months before kanye came out with that 808's and heart brake cd weezy was talking about doing an all rnb/love songs album with songs like these and i was actually checking for that.

The Wayne song sounds way harder than this tho imo....I like J. Cole a lot..but sometimes he can make a track sound a lil boring, this one included..

i feel you, but i like that delay/echoes and when he lets the beat play for a second. if hes doing a break up record like that, it adds to it imo. i like how it makes the song sound more cold and you can hear that the nigga is fucked up emotionally and is getting fucked up in the studio and speaking how he feels. i think it sounds better, and its more relatable to me lol.

Lyrics were good, especially the first verse. But the yelling and screaming kind of ruined it for me. If he treated like a regular rap record I think it would've sounded better.

Im glad he didn't and most of the time DON'T treat records like this like a regular rap record...you get more emotion and passion thru the track when its done this way imo...but i guess everyone listens for different things tho..

I hear what you're saying, and I kind of agree. But he has other records where he showed emotion with just rapping. Like Cry Out, Trouble, Miss My Dawgs, etc.
