LE Tournament #2 - Predictions/SH!T Talking Thread!!

It's been over a month a some since I've updated the Records Book thread so after round one, I will update it including the battles that took place outside the tournament.

ROUND 1 PREDICTIONS:

Disciplined InSight -VS- frozenheartwjlb

The champ is nice but Sniper K is going to usurp the throne this tourney.

Don't know frozenheart but I'm diggin' the name.

I think Disciplined will advance based on his experience.

Young-Ice -VS- b.c.o.dcru

b.c.o.dcru can flow but Young-Ice has those punchlines.

Holey Moley! I predict an upset by the 'moleman' Young Ice.

thedesolateone -VS- Plap Star

the desolateone has stepped up his game with some of his new lyrics I read on here.

Plap Star says a lot of funny lines in his posts but I don't know if he can spit.

Prediction: desolate one

NuffRespect -VS- maxseveneight

This one is a toss-up. Both are hungry and have nice lines when they are on their 'A-game'.

I predict maxseveneight with the 'rapid fire' flow as his edge.

tupacfan -VS- deadpoolRKO

Tupacfan drops poetry and then switches it up with some nice daggers.

I don't know deadpool so imma give the edge to tupacfan.

love yal -VS- deaththreats

Love yal is like Ol' Dirty Bastard. Unique style that has no father.

deaththreats better watch out when love yal breaks out those rare references...

Upset victory by love yal.

sniperk -VS- Charley Prince

Haven't seen Charley Prince but sniperk is crazy!

Thanks for the props raw material. I don't know Charley Prince but I'm looking forward to the battle.

It seems like a few people had problems with the IC yesterday. I assumed there would be a problem for all 16 battlers to check in within 2 days. I'll extend the check in date to tonight midnight but we have to get these battles going. Verses are STILL due Sunday night and voting is still over by Tuesday night. I will make it a point to vote on everyone's battle. I can only ask for you guys to help with the voting too so we can get this thing moving.

Still waiting for these guys to check in. I tried messaging, even emailing them, but no reply.

We do not have any replacements for them BC they never got back to me. If dreadlock rasta and coonuncooned get back to me by tonight, they can be replacements and those two battles will be extended by a day or two and the second round will begin as soon as those two battles are wrapped up. If neither Charley Prince or maxseveneight check in and dreadlock rasta and coonuncooned do not get back to me or change their mind about entering, then NuffRespect and sniperk will automatically be in the second round BC of DQs.

I can't describe how I matched everyone up this tournament. It would be a long explanation. Basically, I ranked everyone and a few people were tied BC they've never battled before. First, I ranked people by how they did in the last LE tourney, then by the Record Book, then by inexperience. In the first tournament, it was much simpler since there was no Records Book or tournament to go on. Basically, if you signed up first, then you battle who signed up 16th. Lol.

I don't know man. I don't see how there are so many dq's already. And I mean if Pac and DI don't drop this whole tournament seems pointless. Having half of the matches decided by dq right out of the gate.

It is really aggravating. I thought I gave everyone an ample amount of time to write a verse. I'm not sure if it's because most of everyone in the tournament has just gotten back from Spring Break and now they are swamped with HW or they just don't care. I got a few PMs saying people need extensions. Seeing as in the first tournament I gave everyone about 2 weeks to get their shit together but in this tournament I tried to rush things do it in a week, I am going to allow whoever hasn't dropped their verses yet to do so by tonight. I think we're just waiting on tupacfan now. For the record, Charley Prince and maxseveneight are still DQ'd for not checking in. That's the easiest thing you can do in a tournament and we are now worried about verses and voting, not checking in anymore. That time has passed. But let's hurry up on the voting. Most of the battles already have both verses dropped. This tournament isn't going to work if I am the only one voting. Also, I want to remain respectful when I say this but when the ROUND TWO threads are made, the due dates will be absolutely final. To be fair, I will try to spread things out a little bit so you can be prepared.

Yeah man... you had a nice theme going on in the last tournament with the linked references that I think cats slept on.
