lakers have lost all of their games so far, and now they are playing their last one and they r like 5 behind.. they should have chosen better players than them...

U are aware they are forcing these guys to run one of the most complex offenses in the league, Triangle, after being together for only about 2 weeks.

Our Summer league teams never play well at summer league. But it is summer league, the aim is to run the triangle on almost every play, so that they can see who works well in it.

Caracter and Ebanks have been the standouts on the squad. Strawberry has been ok, has some tools, but needs to knock down the 3 with more frequency. Green has sucked.

true true,, but i don think the triangle is a secret strategy anymore, i mean if it works, then all the teams should be using it ass well.. lets not forgat than phill made a video about the triangle... so everyone know it i guess..

But think about it. Phil has won 11 titles with the Triangle. In a copycat like the NBA, u would think almost every team would run the triangle since it has been that successful. But really the only other team that tries is the Wolves, with key emphasis on try. The Triangle is not for everybody. Lots of players don't fit in it.

It is an offense predicated on reading what the defense gives u and then reacting from there with a pass to the cutting player, or trying to score. The reason why it takes awhile for players to pick it up is bcos most players in the NBA were at some point one of the best players on either there High School team or College team. Hence, they made the defense react to them, instead of the latter. AAU ball does not help either. It takes awhile for the player to choose read and react as their 1st instinct , some players never do.

This is one of the reasons i never liked Farmar. Good player, with good PG instincts. But he always wanted to attack the defense. And a lot of times, he was successful, but most times, he either drained the shot clock, or put himself in bad situations.

During the playoffs, my friends told me i kept screaming, GIVE THE BALL TO GASOL. As great as Kobe is, Gasol is truly the Key to the Triangle offense. Whenever he gets the ball in the post, he forces the defense to start reacting to the different cuts his teammates makes, and he is one of the few players in the NBA that can either make the right pass, or trying to score.

Disclaimer, before my fellow Laker fans attack me, Gasol is the key to the Triangle offense, Kobe is the Key to the Lakers Offense, Big difference, think about it.
