If Kobe plays 5 more years like Jordan, he has HIGH PROBABILITY of adding atleast 3 more rings. 7 rings. more than Jordan. If Kobe continues his level of play, he will be on the Top 2 of ALL NBA SCORING by the tail end of his career. Kobe absolutely destroys Jordan in terms of scoring. Kobe can score at will & with such finesse. While, Jordan was a better defensive player. Kobe scored 81 points in one game. Jordan never came close to that. Only Wilt. Kobe scored 50 points for 4 games in a row & had an off night of 46 points on the 5 game. Jordan never had that kind of a streak.....EVER....Only Wilt did that. Jordan played in the 90s. The softest period EVER in the history of the NBA. In the 80s, Jordan could not compete because of The Lakers, The Celtics, Pistons & other talented teams. The average perimeter player in the 90s was/is weak compared to the average perimeter player of today. Now back then, the players were more fundamentally sound, meaning they understood the game more, were better at doing the grunt work. However, today, the average perimeter player is 6"7 - 6"11, can play the point, very strong 3 point shooter, run a 4.3 40, stronger, can jump 5 feet above the rim & freakishly athletic. The cats who were guarding Jordan weren't shit compared to the niggas guarding Kobe. Kobe has to play against Dwayne Wade, Carmello Anthony, Lebron James, Chris Paul, Ron Artest (before the trade), Paul Pierce, Vince Carter/Rashaan Lewis, Gilbert Arenas, Kevin Durant, etc. cmon son.....the league is way more gifted TODAY especially at the Guard/SF position/Perimeter than it was during Jordan's era & YET Kobe's still dominating.
