The reason why it gets hated on because everyone had heard half of the album before it dropped already from those good Fridays ,imagine if that album would had dropped without people hearing Monster, so appalled, Devil in a new dress for the first time when they listen to the album it would had ranked higher on his catalog.

I don't see how that's an argument. He basically held the Summer down with tracks off his album before it was released. I've never seen anyone have damn near every track get so much attention as if they were all singles. If anything, the fact that it was still dope even after the album drop with everything in ordered and some Cruel Summer tracks left off, it made the album even more credible.

Didn't even know dark fantasy was hated on. Only negative shit I heard was about half the album being out before it was released. Now 808s is a different story(I think that album was great)
