Kanye is nowhere near a great rapper, i think he is great artist and producer but from a technical aspect he is pretty average. You can't use that Pac excuse either, because what Pac lack in lyricism he made up for is his songwriting ability, delivery, and flow. Kanye doesn't excel at no technical aspect imo.
He just knows how to put together albums sort of like Dr. Dre, i don't think anyone would say Dre is a great rapper and his two solo albums are better than any Kanye album.

I never said he wasn't good at songwriting, i don't think he is great in the sense of a Nas, Pac, Jay,etc. When has Kanye ever excelled at a concept such as ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND, I GAVE YOU POWER, REWIND, 22 2'S, etc.
Kanye probably has the best vision in hiphop but as far as a mc, dude ain't even on Lupe's level right now.

Then why are you saying dude is gonna be top 5 if he ain't even in Lupes league and Lupe is far from a top 5 rapper.
