This is one of those things where you have to see how it turns out before you can judge. Cats on here was telling me that Karmaloop is poorly run (which is prolly what's responsible for it's hardship). The only thing I can see them really getting from this, is the platform to put other urban clothing lines on to sell to the urban market. Blacks, latinos and women have by far the highest purchasing power in America....

But hey who knows, maybe clean up the management, refinance the company's debt and shave off some of it, market it much harder and create deals with newer and better lines. If Kanye West uses his clothing line and sells it at H&M prices, he can have a very lucrative thing here. The only reason why his shoes and t-shirts sell so excessively is because they're produced in limited quantities, but for a clothing line, he won't have that problem. He did say on the Breakfast Club he wanted his clothing line to be like H&M and affordable for everyday people.

It's clever, Kanye doesn't really have the business sense the way Dame does for fashion (you can criticize Dame all you want but Rocawear and State Property were still his babies, you can't take that from him, music you can attribute to Jay but Armadale and Rocawear were his ideas). While Kanye designs and does his rounds, Dame makes sure the product gets out and will bark at anybody who try to come at or deny Ye. It's kinda like the same arrangement they had for music but for fashion. Ye just wants in and he's doing it strategically and patiently. Dame has a new opportunity to re-establish himself and make a lot of money, he may not squander this.....
