we are talking from the "movie" perspective right ?

ace should of gave rico the greenlight to put hands on calvin that same night ....

mitch and ace should of never gave rico the opportunity to rub shoulders with them ..

mitch should of moved his brother out of that unhealthy household ....

RIP Rich Porter (MoneyMakinMitch)

the crack epidemic was the single worst thing to happen to black america besides slavery/jim crow and you are makin threads on how this could have been executed more effective? fuck is wrong with your coonin ass?

that's why the real azie is still salty bout the movie cause niggas like you dont get the message. he walked away from the drug game while he was free and breathin boy, but maybe you know something he didn't?

listen to azie's track with his group mobstyle, maybe you will figure out how the people that were really involved see the situation:

so what's next a thread like "what would you have done differently if you were a slavemaster"?

first who are u really trying to blame for the "crack epidemic" ?

second azie is salty about the movie because they took his original script and watered it and he got paid crumbs ....

third if u gon knock the crack game u should be knocking every other corrupt organization (business) from food and beverage to clothing and plastic ....

this country was built on treachery and bullshit who are them niggas to fuck tradition up .....

'A" keeps his "square" job as a dry cleaning customer service afficionado and saves money, then finds a way to educate himself and start a business of his own.

Getting into the drug game will always involve risk and betrayal that could have your life on the line at any given moment. (I know, regular "legal" business can too, but you know what I mean). Niggas don't do background checks and resume review as thorough as say, the government, so at some point you're bound to have a worker or business partner or client or supplier flip on you. Typically when you get flipped on it's gonna involved someone getting physically injured.

Have fun with this comment, real life powder pushers and kingpins posting on the IC. I know it was random as hell.

The movie was dumbed down a bit, the real people were quite a bit smarter than as portrayed.

I don't remember the movie so well, but as for what they did wrong in real life:

Rich should have never lied to Alpo, there was no need for it. Alpo was nutty, but he was loyal unless he had a reason not to be. That said, Alpo should have talked to Rich about his lying first instead of just killing him, as that murder brought more heat on him, especially because of the coincidence with Rich's little brother.

Alpo should have never hooked up with Wayne Perry and those crazies in DC. He should have sold weight and stayed low profile. Trying to be a foreign King in DC forced him to kill way too many people, which made him too obvious a target. For a time, alpo had it made. Making money in DC and NYC, and nobody really knew what he was up to in either city.

AZ was pretty smart and ran things about as good as it could be run, he just had a string of bad luck with stick up kids and kidnappings and such. He should have never let Rich and Alpo talk him into being flashier, and he should have listened to some of the Queens gangsters about having an exit strategy stash.

u believe alpo about rich lying to him .... rich isn't here to tell his side of the situation and alpo isn't the best source for factual information ....

I believe that part. He wasn't an indiscriminate killer, and at that time, he was making a TON of money, so it wasn't like he needed Rich's share of the supply. Few things cut worse than being betrayed by somebody you love, and it seems pretty clear that Alpo and Rich were extremely close.

Drug game required nerves of steel and much more ruthlessness than other hustles. Too much money involved, too territorial. Stakes too high, jail time too long. Snitching too attractive. Which means everybody is scared of everybody else, thus silencing them is essential.

Pimps tend to get along with each other, like a guild. Drug organizations are inherently at odds with each other. Pimping for the most part is very low stakes. Most pimps ain't balling and the jail times involved are pretty short. IF you are a pimp and don't get caught with drugs, guns, and nobody is claiming you kidnapped them and forced them into it, you are looking at a very light sentence in contrast to what drug minimums are.

Them niggas that approached ace might as well walked up to wit a "we're undercover cops" sign on their chest. Lol! Mitch could've gotten his mother & brother outta that situation by moving.

Lemme ask y'all this then. Is having love from the streets more important, than puttin your family in a better situation? B/c it seems like that's what kept Mitch there.

You can love the streets, but the streets won't love you, until you are dead and then everybody pretends to have loved you.
