Jeru's first two albums were tight. They were produced perfectly and he did what he was supposed to do on the mic, but I wouldn't say, "Jeru The Damaja Is "One" The Greatest MC's Of All Time". That would imply that he's in the top 5 or top 10 which is ranking him too high imo.
There were a lot of good MCs in that era; Biggie Smalls, Wu Tang, Nas, O.C. Q Tip, Phife, Guru, Buckshot, Heltah Skeltah, CL Smooth and that was just on the East Coast.
Another thing to consider is that after he broke up with Premiere he wasn't able to maintain his shine.
Jeru might have been top 50 or top 100, but I wouldn't rank him in my top 10.
