Rap music is still young minded so it doesn't let it's veterans grow and encourage them to continue teaching the masses. Instead they write them off as "washed up" and "too old to rap", that's why skinny jeans, Kodak Black, Lil Uzi Vert, etc. can run a muck and thrive SMMFH. Rap has the worst fans, in rock they still fill stadiums to watch the Eagles, Metallica, Rolling Stones, U2, Meatloaf and other bands still play and make the forbes list along with the young bucks. In Hip-Hop, the same respect isn't there unless you're Jay-Z, NaS or Eminem. You'll never see Slick Rick, Rakim or G Rap fill a stadium or make Billboards b/c if they do niggas will say they "too old to rap" SMMFH.
