Somebody lying in this situation. gibbs been saying he was putting his own money behind his work when he was with CTE. Now Jeezy saying he could no longer fund his career.

Whatever the case Gibbs is Dope as hell and I think he better off doing his own thing.

Right, I'm sure Gibbs will respond sooner or later though...

Foreal though it would be dope if they could squash it & make dope music, cause like Jeezy said, he's not making a diss record

Jeezy just grown man'd him in that interview..

Like "son I tried, but the coach just said you're not good enough to make varsity. Sorry son."

Yeah somebody is lying, especially after listening to Gibbs diss on Cocaine Piñata. Gibbs said he had his own money and didn't ask him for anything, and Jeezy is saying the opposite. Jeezy did handle it well though. I would've at least threw some shots especially after hearing all of those disses.

Jeezy track record with his artist speak fir itself blood raw ended up dissin before. Gibbs rode for him vs Ross. I don't think he lying.

"I took you to every label in the game. They don’t wanna sign you." This goes for 95% of the rappers to ever rep CTE

Maybe its partial truth in what they both saying... Gibbs still ain't on a major and former cte niggas have dissed jeez for being a bad boss

Gibbs needs to stay away from the major labels, he's doing great without them, as for the jeezy beef I don't care about all that, shit is old news.

I can believe that no label wanted to sign him. Sometimes nigguhs let their individual bias for an artist cloud the reality of the situation. Gibbs may be dope to a lot of people, but I don't know how anybody can listen to dude and think that he would be a valuable asset to a record label. And before nigguh's get their panties in a wad.....I'm saying that as if I was looking at Gibbs from a record execs pov. Hell, I'm surprised at a lot of these nigguhs who actually do get label deals but generally that's just the label trying to milk an artist while he's hot...only to discard him when he inevitably falls off ( Trinidad James anybody?? ). I don't think Gibbs is garbage....I just think there are probably people "up in those offices" who don't see him as being marketable or profitable to them. Doesn't mean they are right....just is how it is. That could all change if he dropped a hit song that had commercial appeal.

I think its half truths in both stories. I do think jeezy got tired of spending money on dude but I also think he mishandled Gibbs. Nigga has too many fans to get no deal. Jeezy tried to hard that entire interview to seem like he giving these niggas the perfect set up to be stars. And the nigga refers to drug dealing the whole interview. Man jeezy just don't seem like a stand up nigga to me

Fuck that Gibbs shit. But from my first encounter with dude in 03 as a teen. He's still the same dude just with better dishes.

And his music is dope. You can't front on em.
