Japanese is to Chinese what gourmet is to fast food. Then again, that could really just be that most Japanese restaurants I've been too are high priced gourmet restaurants whereas most Chinese are closer to fast food.

That said, Beni Hana >> PF Changs.

Chinese does have Japanese beat in variety. There is about twice as much stuff on the average Chinese menu as on the average Japanese menu.

Negative on the chinese food sold in china. You show up to a resturant in china you may be eating dogs, cats, and rats and that's if you're lucky. In south china you get served scorpions, locus and whatever they find on the street. I ate good in hong kong but other than that i tried to be vegetarian in china. Japan was great though, there were pig farms so, it was safe to assume pork was pork. We'd see a dude walking his pet bull, so obviously there were cows. co-sign the Panda express thing though.

Na I have to disagree a lot cause don't get it twisted Japanese restaurants are good as hell but chinese restaurants are too damn good. Is everybody from down south that replied to this thread cause i,m a hop,skip,and a jump from chinatown in NYC and they be shittin on japanese restaurants here.

Yeah that rice is what made me realize how superior their food is compared to Chinese. It looks almost the same but the taste isn't.
