I dont see why people clowning J Cole's album.Dude did his thing on it.the few songs ive listened to is legit.Just because he's not killing everybody in his songs doesnt take away his flow.Im glad he doesnt sound like everybody in the music industry

It's not terrible, but it doesn't jump out at you as being a great album. It may grow on me over time, but off first couple listens it's nothing impressive at all. I enjoyed SS much more. There's just too many mediocre to just bad punchlines and metaphors from Cole on this one. I had even kept from hearing "Crooked Smile" til now and that may be the most complete song on the whole damn album

Co-sign the bad lines. Every artist has mad average lines but his shit sticks out so much. Glad everyone is feeling the album. Its growing on me but still isn't GREAT. I will cop 4 sure though

Overall a solid album but this ain't nothing special...you got some nice beats and nice flow....he stepped up flow.....but he fucked up a few of them nice tracks with some really poor metaphors and hooks...nigga stop singing

I didn't appreciate him using the same sample as Suit & Tie on Chaining Day either. Especially that soon after Suit & Tie. Then he went & screwed it like Tim did.

I was going to wait to listen to the jawn, but I gave it a spin. I like the album and it's definitely better than TSS.

Couple of missteps here and there and some unquotable lyrics, but other than that I give it about an 8 or so.

Not bad. No really big standout records though. Much more cohesive effort from Cole

Its above average IMO. The Concept Of the Album is consistent which makes it even better as a whole to me too. I Dont even think it has any bad songs
