Is the show "The First 48" racist?

There was one episode, that this white dude killed his wife and shot himself in boston, then blame it on a black male. Now you got the whole boston police force, looking for a black male.

na but i been noticed that too

every now and then they'll hit you with a latino murder...and the white one might happen once every two years...

it aint racist.. its sad.. because its happening.. i haven't watched an episode in a loooong ass time.. but Is anyone actually still alive in overtown, flordia.. i mean damn everybody gets killed out there

There were like three episodes, in a total of 10 people in Florida was killed.

To be honest, I don't give a fuck if the show is really racist. Even if the producers were in the KKK, they make some good TV!

I remember when my hometown was on this show...okay I digress. I do not feel the show is racist. It just so happens that the crimes they portray are committed by black people predominantly. Most of the time, it's poor, project, ghetto-type areas with drugs, guns, and high crime rate in general. These areas are full of people who have become a product of their environment. But on the other hand, you can go to the poorest of white neighborhoods and you may see on the news where the police busted a meth clinic within someone's home but you will not see the high rates of homicidal tendencies within their culture. Why? I don't know. Why so much killing within the poor black communities? I don't know.

Side note:I rarely see black people on Cold Case Files, American Justice, To Catch a Predator, Hoarders, Fatal Attraction, etc. Different shows have different demographics. Are those shows racist?

I think it's entertaining, but it also serves to educate and make people aware. I feel the same about those other shows, too. None of them are racist in my opinion.

I can't lie, with all the episodes of COPS or Dumbest Criminals or Wildest Police Chases that ends up being white folks...... I see no reason to complain.

lol, u would think so right? and its not like they have alot of people living there anyway. it only has about 11,000 or so residents. but nobody will be living there soon. that shit is going to get gentrified like a muthafucka.
