Cardi b funny but she's a wack rappa.

Desiigner, smoke dza & dave East my niggas

Has bronson dropped anything since ghostface herbed him? lol

The rest of that list sucks(I fuck wit some troy joints) put a flat top on new yawk city hip hop or show larry holmes shadow boxing in the bronx it's a reynolds

Most of em are wack and the ones that are good aren't make amazing music. I like Badass album though.. Cardi, Dave East and ASAP the only others I'm really checking for. French album was straight. But NYC still not close to the level of LA, Atlanta, etc.. New York fall from grace so crazy

remove Troy Ave's wack ass ain't no one listening to him

add Roc Marciano

Mach Hommy

Benny the Butcher

FlatBush Zombies

Underachievers

and yea new york is turning the corner but West Coast is still better

Bronson just so happened to be working on his shows and cooking when the ghost thing happened so it was a 50 cent/cam thing pretty much

Blue chips 5000 about to drop though

Roc Damn near 40 and nobody knows him well enough to be helping carry anything. Underachievers have a fitting name, Flatbush zombies weirdo niggas real niggas can't get jiggy..

Is NY atleast better than the Midwest or Chicago you think?

Midwest is too disjointed too really be the "4th coast" that being said Detroit and Chi Town got more mainstream and top 40 hip hop acts than New York has had these past few years

I don't know about the new cats, but NY rappers from the 80s and 90s still tour.

I don't think there's any 80s rappers from any other region that still tour.

New York Hip-Hop Reign from 1973-2006.... It's live for 33 years like Jesus Christ. From 2007 continues on Hip-Hop is in the After Christ era ....

Is things finally on the up and up and pretty much stable for the hip hop scene in New York where it's not on life support anymore?

With artists such as:

A Boogie

Action Bronson

A$AP Ferg, Rocky, and I guess Twelvyy, (Not Bari)

Conway

CardI B

CJ Fly

Dave East

Desiigner

Don Q

French Montana

Joey Badass

Remy Ma

Papoose on MMG

Smoke Dza

Troy Ave

Vado

Young M.A

Etc

Is NY in good hands? Or does it need one more star to be a contender?

No

A Boogie- promising and has potential but still too early to tell.

Action Bronson- he's what he is at this point.

A$AP Ferg, Rocky, and I guess Twelvyy, (Not Bari)- Ferg already peaked popularity wise, Rocky cares more about fashion than making music. The rest never blew when the Mob was popping so unfortunately they'll never blow.

Conway- too early to tell

CardI B- she has one of the biggest hits of the summer right now but let's see if she can drop follow up hits and make dope music.

CJ Fly- he's been out since 2012 and he's still relatively unknown at this point he's just an underground rapper, nothing wrong with that just saying.

Dave East- still too early to tell. He had a buzz last year but he's tailed off a bit. His second album will determine a lot, he needs a big hit too.

Desiigner- he's a 1-1/2 hit wonder, he's done.

Don Q- too early to tell. He has potential though.

French Montana- he's an established successful artist not sure why you'd list him.

Joey Badass- he's one of my favorite newer artist, so far he's gotten better with each album, he still needs a crossover hit, I thought Devastated would be it. He's shown enough to where I think the jury isn't set on him just yet.

Remy Ma- she's a solidified veteran

Papoose on MMG- he's my guy but he's just a tax write off for MMG. Unless he can pull a 2004 Twista..

Smoke Dza- see CJ Fly

Troy Ave- he's my guy but he's done, due to large fan apathy and him kind of getting in his own way and the powers that be that helped pushed him (Hot97, 105.1) not fucking with him anymore and the blackballing he won't get to beyond where he's at.

Vado- he had promise and he was given a few looks first with Cam and then with Khaled and nothing materialized. He's pretty much the new Red Cafe'.

Young M.A- she has enough talent that I think she can carve out a decent career even if she never has another hit as big as Ooh.

When Dj Quik, Snoop, Too Short and E40 stop touring?
