Great for branding.

Meek doing a crossover song with Mariah and all those POP tart fans hear the MMG tag and later they see an ad or advertisement with Maybach Music on it and it's instant recognition.

The lesser established artists on the label benefit the most just by being associated with the brand.

Stalley & Rockie Fresh are a good example.
