ITS 2010 homie. Music has changed and fallen off since the 90's but the 2010 equivalent of Biggie lets say ok.

to put it bluntly............HELL FUCKING NO................BIG changed the game with 2 LPs, both r classic albums...Ross only has 1 good LP (Deeper than Rap), good but defintly not Classic............besdies, BIG has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more Lyrical ablity than Ross, Ross isnt that good Lyrically, his Beats is wat makes the albums..........He never really "kills" any of his Features............BIG on the other hand use to rape rappers on they on shit, regardless of this Beat

all in all this has to be a Shock thread.........i refuse to believe that there r people that r that Stupid to believe this

Biggie is overrated as hell. Don't get me wrong I was def a biggie fan when he was alive but y'all try to act like those 2 albums he put out were that hot to eclipse niggas wit 4 to 10+ albums of work??? Ross ain't the next biggie but he will be a sucesful variant of him, JUST LIKE JAY.

Nope in a rap sense have you not heard ross spit. He has a basi ryhme scheme thats predictable like drakes. All his albums are the same. Only thing he has over big is probally popularity

Just because hes fat and fuckin wit puff dnt mean shyt. People thought the same shyt about shyne because of the voice similarties

This comparison held no weight when Ross said it originally before the Diddy Co-sign. And the Diddy Co-sign is not to be taken seriously. He's doing it for Money obviously. Anyone who has studied Hip Hop History knows B.I.G. was one of a kind. His #1 disciple Jay Z has dealt with the comparisons also but atleast Big himself co-signed Jay and pass the torch to him. The only thing they have in common are they were both heavy set. Biggie was way more lyrical than Ross could ever be. Biggie's flow was one of the ILLest ever. Ross flow is so damn repetitve, he never switches it up and every flow damn near sounds the same. Biggie's debut changed the game. Ross Debut though dope didn't even have Impact in the South like that. Ironically they both have 3 #1 albums. Biggie sold 30 Million worldwide, Ross is still under 4 Million WW with 3 LP's and a 4th on the way. Like with the Biggie and Jezzy comparsion. Big's singles outsold Ross's career. The comparison is null and void. There will be no "NEW" Biggie cause there's only one KING. Jay is probably the closet to Frank White but like he said from his own mouth: "It's no Biggie". Ross can only dream of Being on Big's Level. Oh Yea and Biggie wore REAL Versace Shades, no fake shit. With that said, I love Ross production. To me that's the saving grace of his music. Even his new song "Super High". The flow is still repetitve and he's saying nothing but listen to that beat? Love Ricky's beats. But sorry Ross, you need more than a hot beat to be compared to one of if not the GOAT. I'm very happy to see it's uniamous that Ross can not be compared to Big. And for the record:

RTD > Ross Career

LAD > Ross Career

Biggie's cut and paste albums > Ross Career

Biggie's Callabos and Demo > Ross Career

Biggie on his debut "Ready To Die" title: "I told Puffy I wanted my album to be called "Teflon Don" and "Machine Gun Funk" be the 1st single but we changed the title to "Ready To Die" cause that was one of the 1st tracks I recorded for the album and the album ends with my death so again I went with the other title"

Rick Ross new album title: "Teflon Don". SMH, Big is turning over this.
