It seems like he never knows exactly what he wants to say in a song. He's all over the place lyrically.

Almost every positive review i've read on this album applauds it for being "fun" or "full of swagger" or "inventive".

NYTimes (I think it was them) said it best - "Big Sean is a clever but convictionless rapper".

Not too bad for a party album. He at least is marking his spot in the game and has room to grow.

Dude is an average rapper but he makes good songs imo. I don't think he should be talked about as if he's in the same circle with cole, wale, k.r.i.t, jay elect, etc. but I like his music. I fully understand why niggas don't feel him but I do. To each his own. I don't know about great punchlines but he does have charisma and he's witty. Like I said though to each his own.....
