Jay. RD was a little better overall and is more timeless than Illmatic. Vol. 1 and IWW were pretty close in my opinion. In fact, I'm gonna go listen to both of them shits back to back right now. But I'd give the edge to Vol. 1. it was very nearly a classic.

I think Vol. 1 is Jay's most underrated album, but it got some few skippable tracks on it like that godawful song with Lil Kim. and Diddy. I gotta take IWW over Vol. 1 because it's higher on my list on Nas albums than Vol. 1 is on Jays album.
