That's one of the great mysteries of the universe along with who and why Stonehenge was built. Why dykin' chicks like studs, and who suggested to Rihanna that her rhythmically challenged ass try to dance in the "Where Have You Been All My Life," video. you know when you were a kid and your parents took you to get a pair of shoes, and they'd pick out some shit that was nice colorway, nice style, slick design, everything looked perfect, except it was some off brand no name shits. they were perfect in everyway except they were just off brand. if it had the NIKE name, they'd be the shit, but it didn't they were just IKE.

I think hes more underrated as an emcee than a producer. Everyone is or is starting to recognize him as a dope producer but they still sleep on DJ Quik the EMCEE.

Like when you think of Just Blaze, Kanye, Timbaland you think of their work for Jay-Z.

You think about Dre, you think about Snoop, NWA etc. Think of Premier...Gang Starr, M.O.P. etc

You don't have that same association for Quik as an MC or as a producer but the nigga is dope as fuck and he's high on my list.
