Proof's "Hood was about 4-5 miles from that club, where he was hanging out at on 8 Mile & Gratiot the night he was shot in the head...and I think it's safe to say that even if he lived in Bloomfield Hills, he still would've been hanging out at that club that night.

A real man can go where ever he wants to go or wants to live.....I said that, to make this point......for one, if somebody wants to kill u, they can find where ever u live, soo that whole logic about being safe in the suburbs is not true. visit family/old friends sure...but if I'm making enough money to live in a neighborhood where it's not crime ridden, drug ridden, or looking run down, i can own the house and know it's actually worth something, and can afford to provide my children with a better childhood (financially) than I had, then what would be the point of staying in the hood? Of course there's going to be haters regardless but that doesn't mean you have to run to where they are in mass numbers all the time

if i got a deal (or major paid), i leaving definitely. early. i wouldn't give it a second thought.
of course more money = more problems, but usually half of the problems we walk into, the other half walk towards us....

imagine winning the lottery, then people you haven't seen since kindergarten wanna be your best friend all of a sudden.
if you suddenly get this fortune and stay in the hood where everyone knows, that makes you more prone to being scammed/robbed.
add to that that you live in the ghetto/hood where alot of people do anything for bread...you think they want just you?
no they may want to snatch ya moms, sister, cousin or kid(s) just to get more from you.

staying in the hood gives the wolves more opportunities to get at you. i know you can get got anywhere, but i'd rather minimize my chances of being a victim.
i believe i can help my people and community better, but only once my family's situation is improved.
