it depends on if he REALLY thinks he's worth a big $$$ long term contract...i dont think he is...yet.....what were his final regular season stats this year?....he had a great game against Arizona, a BREAKOUT game to most and against Minny and Indy he contributed but nothing major.....so IMO being he was drafted high, held out his rookie year, and hasn't even been able to maintain the starting RB position since he came in...i'd try and sign him but for less than what he(or his agent) prolly thinks he's "worth" and if he's willing to take a cut and EARN his spot then i'd extend him after this year coming up...if anything im keeping Thomas or Bell & Bush.....

now if he's as loved in NO as Brees is or even Deuce McAllister than i'd keep him around

didn't he hold out for some time when he was drafted?....cuz he "thought" he was gonna be #1 and wanted to be paid like a #1.

no, maybe your confusing him with Crabtree. He signed on time he was just bitching about his number cause the NFL wouldnt let him wear #5 and then all the stuff with USC

I think they gone keep him cuz Sean Peyton still believes he can help the team. and right now what SP says goes. Plus if they do restructure I think he'll be ok with it cuz no other team that wants him is a contender.

I would sign him from a business perspective more than a production point, dude sells alot of jerseys and will bring in alot of fans. He still can be a 1000 yard rushing and 500 yard receiving back imo if he is used right; dude is more a great athlete than he is a back. Can't forget the return skills too

Gotta keep him. He's probably the #1, or #2 jersey seller on that team and he contributes. if he runs like he did against arizona, its a bonus. if not, he's a great pass catcher and a good return man

Saints cant keep all three back so i think they'll make and choice and if they do, at least 20 other teams want Reggie Bush and somebody else is gonna pay him. If im Reggie, idc either way and i would refuse to take less money

Reggie will have 2 restructure 4 the Saints 2 keep him...Brees is up 4 an extension, and they have 2 keep Jahri Evans and Jon Stinchcomb, who both had Pro Bowl seasons. They wont pay 8 milli 4 a non starter... If he'll settle for 5 milli then they'll keep him. If not...he may be Seattle bound

Depends on how much money he asking for. He defiantly isnt worth the #2 draft pick money he got so unless he is willing to take less money I say let him go.

Gonna lose a lot of merchandising dollars though.

dude still young is a great punt returner and receiver. all he needs is full confidence in him running the ball along with realistic expectations. He aint gonna get 1500 yards rushingin that offense with 2 other running backs getting carries.

If anything whoever they let go it'll be between Bell, Hamilton, and Bush. Now in my opinion Bell would be the odd man out because he's the oldest of the bunch. Hamilton they'll keep cuz he's young and runs with power. If they do let bell go and keep Hamilton, Bush is going to have to be willing to restructure cuz they need that money to resign Sharper for another 2-3 years to mentor Usama Young. They also probably need to get some cash for a couple more FA DB's for depth.

You gotta remember we have a lot of players on IR too that may or may not be let go. What I really wanna do is get rid of Grant and make a run for Peppers....but thats just me. Him and Smith would be nasty with Greg Williams coaching them.

they gotta keep bush IF he restructures his contract, cus he can play slot reciever and still make some big plays at RB, and then keep Pierre Thomas to be the #1 RB.................

but FUCK THEM NIGGAS

Peppers wants way 2 much money and can be a diva at times...great talent,no doubt, but we can get Kampman or Dumervil in FA and beast it out...
