Do y'all prefer to workout in the morning or evening? If so why?

Morning for me. Doesn't interrupt the flow of my day

I noticed when I'm cutting, my body fat drops significantly quicker when I workout in the morning compared to evening workouts.

I think it's due to working out on any empty stomach when my body is still in fat burn mode.

Anyone else notice a difference in results between the two..?

Late night at the gym. More equipment to your advantage

I actually prefer late nights but my gym is packed in the evenings. You literally have to queue for equipment smh!

Never in my own dreams I ve thought about wielding 88 lbs Kettlebells with one hand, doing one hand push ups like Jet Li, running treadmills with 34 lbs kettlebell like these crazy legion soldiers like its nothing.

VICTORY is in us, wether we are skinny, fat, obese, skinny fat or else. However there is no similar winnings. We have to go get them, cherish these moments, eat our humble pies.

The more I was trying to look like @Black_Samson and @Mastery the more I was losing, getting away from my own goals. The day Ive decide to Programm and reevaluate my goals for me and only myself, that same day I was on the right path. I still find infonand Inspiration in them and all of you but i getting more result doing things my way.

SO LETS GO AND GET OUR OWN WINNINGS, big or small, we go get there.!!!

finally installed this diy pull up bar in my lil shed

working outside in cold weather was discouraging me to the point where i stopped working out completely.

last night was the first time i've worked out in a few months. Did some KB Shoulder Presses, Pull ups, Push ups, and double KB squats

Did 3 rounds

feeling pumped like a muhfugga

back at it this evening

Lem is going to make me invest in some kettlebells

brah...i got a good deal on some cast iron ones off amazon

I got two 35lb KBs for like $60 which is a lil less than a dollar a lb. That is a GREAT deal. I was thinking about getting some 50lb ones. They running like $52 a piece on amazon right now.

THese are iron through and through. I was doing a KB swing on my deck and accidentally dropped on and it cracked a plank. Better the wood than my foot.

To me, its a super cheap way to get some fitness equipment.

Props to lem for finding these videos tho, I've been trying to find some and havent had the luck he has.

IC members that have lost significant weight (50+)? How have you guys handled the luls or stagnation. A bit about me.

I'm 20 years turning 21 soon in a DMV (DC Maryland Viginia) college (so weather can be a factor in the kinds of workouts I do).

My heaviest I've ever been is 275lbs, that was Jan 2015. After then I said enough is enough (I'm 6ft and naturally have a bigger frame. Broad shoulders, large chest, large quads etc). I got down to 243lbs by December 2015 following periods of BSing and in consistency. Being this large in college is not good. Not just for confidence but also its not particularly a good sign future employers.

I traveled over winter break and put back on some pounds. Now I'm at 255lbs. Not great considering all of the hard work I put in.

I had success with running and cutting my calories to about 1900-2100 on a daily basis. I would run M,W,F for 3-4 miles and play soccer Th and Sat.

Jan, Feb saw me work out considerably less and my diet kinda took a hit. Late night food when studying. Relying on free food at events because my funds were low etc.

Just looking for some advice of new things I could try to keep on track. I know it's a lifestyle change and I have to look at it as what the 'new' me just does.

I'm targeting to drop to 230lbs by June and around 210lbs when the new semester starts in September. I think for my genetics and build 190-200lbs would be a good range for me stick in. Lowest I've ever been in my adult life is 210lbs during freshman year of college.

Its 70% diet man. Im on the ketogenic diet which not everyone agrees with but im doing it to lose the weight quicker. Once i get to my goal weight and tone up some I am going to introduce carbs back into my diet but not sugar. Carbs like brown rice, sweet potatoes and shit like that. Look into the ketogenic diet if you're looking to drop some quick pounds. It can be done very cheaply. If you are interested I can send you some information on it.

I was up mom dukes last night & came up on a 20lb kettlebell in her little exercise room, so I'm about to borrow that from her since she don't use it. I just need to cop another 20lb one then I am on go. I can use the swing workout as another ab workout, just the workout I was looking for
