I disagree that it doesn't help. Sure it doesn't solve the problems in the black community, but there is no quick fix for that. What she's done is offer a diagnosis for the problems. You can't solve a problem until you know exactly what is wrong. Sure people have talked about what was wrong for decades, but the way she's done it is better than most I've seen. She's also done it in a clinical way and analogous to an actual disorder that has actual treatment. Of course, it's harder to treat an entire group of people than it is to treat a single person, but maybe if you can find an analog for the disorder, you can find an analog for the treatment.
