i think kendrick might be different this time
Idk but Loopay buzz was way better when he first came out. That quiet, reserved image made him appear cooler than he actually was. Then he started losin (creative) control and turned out to be some cat that stay venting feelings and just didn't know how to stfu. now he got a semi-schizophrenic image which is all over the place.
Kendrick seem smart enough to not make those same mistakes.
Kanye been pretty much the same. He hasn't lost himself creatively. He only switched it up and went left a lil bit after his moms passed

I think Kendrick is different from Kanye and Lupe.
Kanye was arrogant from the gate, he just wasn't as popular as he is now.
Lupe was cosigned by Jay-Z that's why he got that look and for a good minute he was doing good, I think them so called braids/dreads is fucking with his head lol.
Yeah Kendrick got cosigned by Dre, Snoop and Game but, he seems like a very humble dude perfect example, when Shyne said his album was garbage, u didn't see Kendrick catch feelings like Kanye would.

I think Kendrick got alil more sense than that.
When he starts getting frustrated with the art form or decides to be rebellious and speak from the heart, to which many niggas will catch feelings and start to hate. When the bullshit from fickle fans, the media and the labels start piling up and the album sales start to come down.

I don't mean the be region bias im from the tri state area myself. But this new school of cali rappers got that chill feel. When you grow up in cold weather like the tri state or chi town the hot summers and cold winters fuck with you. When you in the south the oppressive heat seems to fuck with you too.
But Kendrick seems like a chill cali dude. Remember Kanye was a lil fussy from the jump when jay said he could buy 2 tickets and wouldn't let him rap. Lupe has also from the jump had a small hint that he wanted to be some pseudo pop culture rebel hipster black millitant.
Kendrick just gets his points out across and has fun with shit like the backseat freestyle video.
