Dude Is Dope, he's well balanced with lyirics ,flow, energy , n content....

if He was from NewyORK HE DEFinatley would of been raved as a top ten rapper .... he should come n fuck with some newyork heads, his style is more east coast then southern , it'll be easier to establish himself a fan base here then there

He's a good rapper but other than his singles none of his tracks really stand out.

His 'the Statement 2 mixtape' is 8/10 imo. He got a track with busta and yelawolf that is flames.

You can listen to it from first track to last without skipping one.

Mos Def is by no means "Underrated" but I think if people actually liked real "Hip Hop" and not "RadioRap" he would be known as the greatest. But that's just me.

He's cool. He gave off that lil wayne in his prime type vibe when he was spittin in the BET cypher. nothings really caught my ear from him though, some of his songs are just the same shit, different day

he's not great but i agree he's underrated

idk if being associated to that clown khaled hurt or helped

i think it hurt more than helped. ace hood got hit with the j cole syndrome where as he didnt have a huge following with his hometown, where that would have helped. (obviously cole is the better rapper and has a better team round so it really didnt matter in his case)

Always thought dude could spit, but he has too much talent to give up. He may wanna reinvent his image, beat selection, crew, and music approach but keep the flow, delivery, etc. because he can make it. Just gotta find his lane. Great idea for him to fuck with more Eastcoast guys, he can flow with their style and beat selection to stand out from the south movement right now. Also, he may wanna do some shock shit and collab with a out of the blue artist for a mixtape like Macklemore, XV, K. Dot, Currency, etc. to reach different fans and to expand his versatility showcasing his skills.

hes not under rated ... he wouldnt be signed to def jam if that was the case .... hes def over looked ... but then again def jam plays a big part in that buy dropping music and promoting music that makes him seem 1 dimensional ....... lyrically and sonically ....
