The Alchemist has already cooked up a couple underground classics with Prodigy — 2007’s Return of the Mac and 2013’s Albert Einstein — but for his latest project, he’s testing his chemistry with the other half of Mobb Deep, Havoc. The rap vets, who have worked together plenty of times in the past, have announced a joint album called The Silent Partner, set to drop on May 20. And if the first single, “Maintain (F*ck How You Feel),” is anything to go by, this album is ready to make some noise in 2016.
