musicology1985;42759 said:give me break b u didn't specify a difference between albums/mixtapes. both of dem brothas official albums came out this past decade and not the 90's. I heard "how to rob on the radio and I had clues first official album in 98. I know mu history.
PAC WAS RAPPIN IN THE LATE 80's, anybody recognize that? hell naw. they just recently released an album of his old recordings but their amateur, just like fab and 50s 90's stuff. as far as the other guys? Jimmy and Juelz sold over a million records a piece and so did Banks and Yayo. It may not have been what u wanted but it is what it is. peace.
G.R.I.P. Money $$$;42776 said:so u dont think dipset and g unit was relevant over the last decade??
G.R.I.P. Money $$$;42785 said:i would think dipset had a lil more effect on da rap game...(see lil wayne)...
kingblaze84;42816 said:Hell no, lmao.....G-Unit has sold way more records than Lil Wayne's corny little group, Young Money. Banks went plat, and Yayo went plat worldwide (I know the IC hates to hear this but it's true). Beg For Mercy sold millions of records worldwide, so ummmmmmmmm.........I do think NY rappers have made an impact over the past 10 years. Dipset never had the fame G-Unit had.....50 should also count as an artist this decade for the simple fact his first official album dropped in 2003. So basically I just shut this whole thread down now.
Ibex;43552 said:So basically you just ethered yourself....like I said 50 first came on the seen in the late 90's Camron too, yes they had their most success in this past decade but they still was out in the 90's....So let me ask again what NY rapper that came out this decade made a huge impact or put out a classic album?
