On the mainstream level, not much is happening but NY has one of the most vibrant underground/independent scenes in the business

Yeah thats what i've been saying. Niggas wanna act like the West Coast fell off so bad but nigga so did the East. The West has Game, Snoop, Dre and Cube as the main forces as far as relevancy and popularity.

East Coast Jay-Z, Nas and 50

But the West Coast has a STRONG underground/next generation MC's comin up while the East Coast really doesn't..
