I gurantee theres going to be a massive change in Hip Hop from Lasers sounding the way it does. Lupe was the one rapper/mc that you could point to and say look you can be extremely lyrical and still sell. For Lupe to get his fans petitioning to get the album released knowing full well how it sounds and the songs he created imo will be a massive blow for any up and coming "backpack" rappers. All of this Atlantic did it is total bullshit, they didn't even want to release the album, I hope Lupe is happy with himself.

I only listened to it once. but it definitely wasn't up to par for some lupe shit. You def have to put some blame on atlantic for sure. I mean why else would trey songz even make it to the album? but that all black everything and the joint with skyler go hard. Lupe is gettin some competition with J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. so I hope he comes out again this year to make up for this shit. Def not fuckin up hip hop. I mean soulja boy and waka flaka are damn near millionaires. Hip Hop been fucked up. Maybe he slowed down the come back with this shit tho.
