it should. Merck makes Gardasil and it's interesting that back in 2009 it was found that the researchers that accepted funding from Merck are the main groups that pushed for the vaccination.

...Although Merck's ads suggest that all women are at risk — a strategy that helps them find as many customers as possible — cervical cancer does not actually strike women equally, says report co-author Sheila Rothman of the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York.

Women who die from the cancer tend to be poor women without access to routine medical care that allows doctors to find and remove growths before they turn malignant, Rothman says.

In the USA, about 11,000 women develop cervical cancer each year, and 4,070 die from it, according to the American Cancer Society. Many of those deaths are among poor white women in Appalachia, blacks in the South and Latinas along the Texas-Mexico border, Rothman says. Merck's marketing has "practically ignored" these women, she says.
