i think this protest finally put things into prospective for my lady.

while she was shopping with her girlfriends, they locked the store last night to keep protesters out.

she called me to tell me what was happening and to ask what was going on....when i told her, she got upset.

basically she now understand why i put so much time into helping others an not spending money on dumb shit.

before she always asked, why must i always help and why cant someone else do it. now she kinda understands.

i have not made my way over to africa yet. but i will get there eventually. its in the plan.

just because you dont see it doesnt mean shit is all sweet for everyone.

alot of us never had to sail across water for a better life. alot of us never had to leave everything we know and love behind with only the clothes on our back to seek better. some people dont want to leave their hood cause they are comfortable where they are and around the people they know.

while some people may think that they only making $8 an hour an living in a shitty studio.

these people will trade that in a heart beat.

did you ever think about the govt thats against all its people? bombs dropping out the sky on you? tanks rolling down your street? your female family members getting raped as often as you buy weed?

do we really know struggle in the states? or do we know a type of struggle?

we want the world to support us when we need it but we dont know shit about the world when they need us.

we should stand united on all issues regarding us.

i saw the protests in London and Paris and Canada and brazil about how black lives matter.

they was supporting the idea that came from American Blacks. Three black women. and it spread across the globe.

I always said we are the head and the world is the body.

we need to stand for something consistently, stand for a cause....not just when we can benefit directly.

we cant get tired because they wont. or maybe we should be tired of being treated like less than animals. seeing black people still sold like furniture.

but seems like some are ok with seeing that...im not

maybe we need a thread specifically for our troubles around the world to be posted. fuck the world politics, we need a global black thread.

most people can run off the names of the few black men killed that made it to the news. but what about those that didnt? what about the black men that were killed in the UK? The ones that were killed in Paris? do we know their names like we know trayvon?

are we really cliqued up in our fight? VS being united?
