So I'm guessing that Batman here is Grayson.

The Cyborg Superman retcon was stupid. Hank Henshaw the corrupt Reed Richards archetype that wants to badly die and never could is much more interesting than Superman's uncle having his body & brain hacked, wiped clean and corrupted by Braniac. I care even less about this development cause it's obviously a lead in to Supergirl and I can't stand this current version of that character or the current volume of her book.

Forever Evil number one was ok. I wanted to see the actual follow up to the Trinity War cliffhanger and was left high and dry.

Now I have to wait a couple of issues cause of Johns and his stupid false sense of suspense as if the audience is stupid enough to not piece together that the JL's were transported to Earth 3 anyway. The art was kinda crappy and very inconsistent at points but that's typical of David Finch & it's not a deal breaker. Though I do I wish that Ivan Reis was penciling this event instead.

Best part was Ultraman grinding kryptonite into powder and snorting it like it was blow that and when he blocked the sun. Lex seemed a little bit off at points. Ted Kord's dad got killed so I guess this is where they will finally introduce Ted Kord himself in this new universe?

can't wait to see what the Earth 3 Kents are like. Didn't think I'd ever see another Jonathan Kent as selfish and unaltruistic as Kevin Costner's especially this soon but I'm assuming that's what Geoff Johns is gonna deliver considering the nature of Ultraman.

i love how much fun theyre having with this. not all issues of villains month were good, but the main story is a blast to read. "Shut up and die, Lara."

cant get into it. Nother excuse for DC to show how edgy they are by dicriding the villains.

Shit you know this has been on Geoff Johns's mind for forever given how much he loves Captain Cold, Sinestro, Black Adam and now Black Manta.

I don't know. Ultraman nibbling on kryptonite and then shooting white trash Jonathan Kent's hand off with his eye beams before going "you will be my parents" was hilarious and entertaining. Reminded me of the twilight zone kid that makes anything he wants happen. They even referenced the cornfield lol.

I like this event cause there are some stories you can only tell with villains and this is one of them. The CSA been around since the silver age but we have never seen the DC villains against the Crime Syndicate. As long as Batman doesn't end up saving the day in the end I'll be alright with it.
