50k ain't a flop dude. Don't care what you say. Soulja Boy selling 13,000 is a flop. Raekwon, who has been in the game for 20 years, selling 50,000 ain't a flop. He's eatin. As long as your fanbase and target audience is purchasing it can't be a flop. You can't sell to people who don't listen to your music.

But common sense should dictate that a flop is anything you put more $$$$$$$$ into then what you get out.

Big major labels send mad loot on over priced "super producer" but a ton of grip on marketing,promotions,imagining and paying radio programmers off.

which is why 50,000 for an artist signed with a major is a flop.
