Fight breaks out at DMV Music Awards

I was just about to post this.

Nobody got shot, stabbed, or arrested but when shit like this happens it gives local hip hop a black eye. Its already tough as hell to get a venue in DC for a rap event. This isnt gonna help.

I guess that's not surprising, considering the lack of unity in the local scene.

But it's unfortunate, because the next time they try to have that event they're gonna have a pretty tough time finding any venue after that mess. And that will just result in less shine for those artists who actually deserve it.

l knew there was a big reason why l did not want my artist to come to the dmv awards her name is betty boo and she was nominated for maryland artist of the year and she is not from maryland she was born and raised dc but was nominated for maryland my promotional group put in work for the awards project and when l saw the nominations l knew something was wrong thank god l just hope that those who l promoted the venue to were able to enjoy them self in what ever they did not night and for the people who were hurt l am very sorry for the issues
