The bible is what it is. I agree with the person that says it can't be ignored because of its power, but I doubt that the stories are true enough to really affect your earthly life and noone has been able to tell rather it has any affect on your afterlife or if it is anything such. I think the bible and the savior theory does a lot of harm in some cases, but what can you do? You can say F it but what about everyone else that needs faith in some type of savior or afterlife? To each his or her own I am not trying to break anyones spirit and I don't think there is anything wrong with having faith. On the other hand, my problem has always been with people that try to act like the bible does not have some contradictory stuff in it. Some try to justify or come up with a bunch of perfect theories to make the bible and the god that it portrays without flaw. It's a book people.
