nicki minaj finer than both of them dirt born bimbos

LOLDAMN

What are the artists being measured on?

Looks--badu

lyrically--boogie

musically--badu

Neither one of them really "made an impact" although thier contributions are solid.

Erykah is hip-hop too. ANybody who checked her freestyles and rapping she does on shows knows that. I go with Erykah , because she didn't go crazy and constantly drops classic material. New Amerykah pt.1 is a masterpiece.

Lauryn Hill wins this one easily. She's way more versatile than Badu. Lauryn goes seamlessly between rap & RnB being able to kill either of the 2 separately or at the same time. Badu is pretty-much just a good RnB/Soul singer.

Lauryn Hill by far. EB is more r&b and singing, Lauryn Hill rocked both with a message and had sistas leaving the fake nails and weaves alone. Made bitches take a deeper look at themselves in the 90's. We need that type of balance back.

Lauryn Hill by far. The Miseducation was a classic, and hell, all niggas gotta do is LISTEN to MTV Unplugged joints and just see what kind of lyrical content and focus this woman has. Amazing. Lauryn is a real woman in my eyes, standing up to the devils of the industry and fighting for what she believes in... Badu is a lot different now than she's been... if you follow her career, certain things are a little more blatant now.
