I support dude, we come from the same place. The Black community needs mental rehabilitation, spiritual rehabilitation, knowledge of self and our true roots, before any motivation can be applied.

He spoke a lot of truth to those students, again his message will only,be received by some, applied by few because of the reality that is set for these kids.

That's how I talk to my little brother....its shits and giggles right now, but when you get to my age , ain't nothing funny about a grown person who hasn't, can't, and won't do anything for themselves or family

I used to work with kids of high school age. It was a constant fight, they take nothing seriously.

I used to tell them that they are at the age where they are too young to be treated like adults but too old to be treated like kids.

Its going to reach a point where folks aren't going to give a fuck about your life or what you went through. In a place like a group home they are relatively safe and people work there because they care but its none of that when they leave the system.

Its a culture shock when they come across someone who is willing to tell them that your woe is me story only works for so long.

1000 Goats. Culture, culture, culture... You can't say it enough.

@Ghost313 , that's life. You can't save everybody.

no one caring isnt a temporary thing for our youth...they live their entire lives like that...

That's why he's going to make a significant impact on the world

Homie got interrupted and delivered a more powerful and profound speech than the speech he had planned

Only the greats can adapt and take advantage of a seemingly negative moment or an interruption of their wrk, flip it and still create a impact

I've stated multiple times on this forum that I've met ET, spoke with him, and even had a chance to talk to him over the phone

When I came up to speak to him, you can legit see the passion his eyes

He definitely touched some kids in there and got thru their ignorance and rudeness

And to the ones he didn't

Those niggas dont even appreciate or respect themselves enough to realize what they just watched

He will go down as one of the greatest motivational speakers out there

All while rocking that 51/50 hat

Detroit Excellence. Salute. I felt every word when he was talking about making sure his kids didnt go through what he went through. Especially comin from the east side. I gave my oldest son the business over him doing some silly stuff at school. After I broke it all the way down for him, took him to where I grew up, I think he finally got the picture. Aint no time to be playing around all day out here.

Not entirely true. People DO care but young people don't always feel like they do.

That shit he said about a rapper coming through taking the money and bouncing and after recently listening to a phone convo between Tupac and Monster Cody got me angry as fuck right now we should not still be were we at. I'm curious as to what his original message/speech was about. He handled that beautifully though

the Pac/Cody convo for those that haven't heard it
