Drake: J. Cole, who’s one of my favorite dudes rapping right now. I’ve happened to have had more success. I made the most money, I have number-one records, those guys [Wale, J.Cole, Kid Cudi] don’t have that shit. And it’s just facts, it’s not even my feelings or that I feel I’m more talented

Drake: When J. Cole gets it super-right, I think he’s gonna have a place as a Nas-type character who really stands for hip-hop, but still makes ill records that everybody fucks with.

Complex: If J. Cole is Nas, then who are you?

Drake: [Laughs.] I’m the young big homie!

So this homo really thinks he is the new Jay? his manager Al Branch said he reminded him of LL or Will Smith and if you look at Nas and Jay, Nas was the one being gassed up b4 Jay. If you peep the recent J. Cole verses after the Warm Up the message is "I'm not there I'm on my way and those guys at the top (Wayne and Drake) should get outta my way". I really want Cole to step on this actors neck. Y'all agree?

Drake dont have the Heart to battle............A lil comp is good though........Brings out better music

I think dude was just keeping it 100. As of now J. Cole is the young NAS and Drake is the young Jay. Dont matter of you like it or not.

Of course this will come off as arrogance though. But he just speaking truth. He even said they was talented. What more you want from the kid?

I mean I get that he has more success but Jay never had success like this he was only seen as the biggest in the game after years of slow progression and then a consistency. I don't think this guy should be going around trying to sum up what another man is capable of and I feel this arrogance is annoying and so I want Cole to strike back if not in a verse, by slowly taking that spot from him.

its not even about whether i like it or not ... this just isnt true in anyway .... drake is a strictly collabo rapper ... how is he like jay in any way?? i think drake is the commercial version of canibus ... and when his album doesnt do well because he is over exposing himself, or because his songs arent as good as his collabo's, we will see this as fact

All I know is that Drake's album better not suck cause Young Money is losing some wind in their sails. Real talk. Last year was the year of YM but they aint release any albums. Niggas right now aren't even checking for anyone but Drake, Nicki and Wayne. Wayne is going to jail Drake and Nicki aint really dropped singles yet. Meanwhile Waka Flocka Flame. Waka. Flocka. Flame. (I gotta type his name like that everytime lol I don't know why) is the hottest rapper out right now. Drake needs to drop the hammer because he is starting to lose some steam the industry doesn't wait for albums to drop it keeps moving and you better strike while the iron is hot or you gonna be upset when your shit flops.

Also if J. Cole drops a single that can get some radio play yet bringing the real lyricism to the table and not just some bubble gum pop shit that little girls will flock to people will forget about Drake.

Drake will be more like ja imo, he will make songs for bitches and then pop for a minute then his fanbase will turn on him. His style is really repetitive as hell too, dude never switches his flow or delivery. J Cole will have more longevity imo because you can't really categorize his style like Drake, Drake is a r and b/rapper while J Cole seems like the Kanye type (real versatile).

Nah I mean just as far as success and where they are now. NOT SKILL. Niether of them are on the same level as Jay and NAS

But success wise they can be compared.

Jay got the lyrics + fans + did some numbers

Nas got Lyrics and a smaller group of fans but didnt do near the #s Jay has. Thats what I mean.

It sounds like Drake is already sonning them.

Saying shit like "I've happened to have had more success. I made the most money, I have number-one records, those guys don't have that shit. And it's just facts, it's not even my feelings or that I feel I'm more talented. That's what the game is about, making great music that earns profit. When it comes to my relationship with the new dudes, I'm just excited for them. I get to sit back in a cool position and be like, "Yo, I'm excited to see you do it now because I know what it's like, it's gonna be so much fun for you…"

It sounds like he's subliminally boasting.

They're all dope artists, and I think its good that they are competing. Next thing you know Cole and Wale will come out with some lines aimed at Drake.

Let the Games Begin

Drake did make more money than them. He is hotter than them. He is better than them. There is a reason he gets more attention. You can either accept this or deny it, but its all facts.

WHAT??? If anything Drake is more Kanye-ish and J. Cole is more Joe Budden/Cassidy ish..(Will have a net nerd following that will swear he is the truth, but is nothing more than an average cat at best)
