women are usually happy about the wedding not the marriage.

Co-siz for the most part. But u cant underestimate the fact that they also love the idea that someone thought enough of them to make that commitment and the security they get from knowing they wont be alone...but the attention of being a bride trumps all IMO.

Pretty much...and besides having the title of wife is a whole lot better than the title of baby mama or just being someones live in girlfriend. It is a respect thing.

yeah. women are malicious, even to their close friends

from what ive seen, a wedding can be turned into a display of extreme attention whoring and making their yet-to-be married friends feel like shit

Na B, marriage ain't safe for a man out here.

Avoid it like the plague.

Why do you think marriage is on the decline ?

any woman that thinks marriage = commitment, love and/or security needs to be avoided

cause those things are not exclusive to marriage

you can be married and still be a single mom

you can not be married and also not be a single mom

why do people(women especially) equate marriage with security?
those things do not go hand & hand

marriage is a legally binding contract,
that does not mean it bind love, trust, equality, compassion etc

Exactly. Before i married my wife, she was not a single mom.

From day 1 i found out about the pregnancy, she wanted for nothing, and was in my crib under my care.

We aint marry until the eldest kid was damn near 4, but, we may as well have been married.

Marriage does provide security. I don't know what country you're in but in America is does. If a man were to die, his wife....NOT his babymama gets a check...if there is a check to be got.

And according to the law a woman is considered single until she's married.

I knew someone was gonna jump to that. Of course there is more to security than money but I didn't think I would have to mention it.
