its not that serious

your not big on symbolism if you feel that way. Perception is a hell of a thing and the campaign making a point to include country but exclude hiphop is saying something to the public...

have you heard hip hop lately? i only fuck with a selected few myself so why would i expect a man 20 years my senior to do the opposite?

obama has a bunch of different genre's on his playlist, including R&B/Soul. no hip hop = no big deal imo

Great politics from a politician.

Hip Hop is too culturally specific, his white-skinned opposition would say that KRS-One is a violent gangster rapper with anti-police songs who poses on his album covers with machine guns.

It's more politically correct to have Darius Rucker a safe Negro married to a white bitch who yodels country music.

Would only have an issue here if the President was 25-40. Dude is in his 50's i believe, my pops wouldnt have any Rap on his shit either. It would be loaded with, MJ, Parliament, James Brown, Gap Band etc....

He got soul though and hell music made by African Americans in hip hop and R&B need some soul. Case in point chris browns pop performance and nicki's lady gaga whitewashed bullshit skit to compensate for no talent at the grammys.

Its an election year. You crackas that post here know y'all old cracka ass parents ain't trying to here no Kings and Queens type track on the campaign trail

Obama know how them cave folks operate.

If I was Black man running for president my playlist would look like this:

Taylor Swift

Skylar Gray

Elvis Presly

Adele

Darius Rucker

Quincy Jones

Mr Hudson

Chris Martin

Michael Jackson

Then I might toss in a safe Negro or a dead Negro to further appease white voters to show I don't have any "militant" tastes in my entertainment.

And that's the part that kills me about these white kids who post on these forums. How can u claim that you were raised on hiphop culture when ur parents absolutely despise all facets of it?? Its like your father is Mitt Romney but u online telling black ppl you know more about this culture than they do.......THANK GOD THE REASON IS BACK.....
