A lot of people are like that. We fucked up as a society telling any and everyone that they are special. When in reality that just isn't the case. If everyone was special then the word special would have no meaning. I think we need people in the world to have no special talents or abilities, then that would give those of us who are special their own platform.

People have different skill sets. And considering the sheer number of people on the planet, im sure there are plenty who genuinely DONT have a talent or gift as Loo described them.

Any talent or gift requires time, effort and nurturing.

So in my mind, completely failing to develop it is the same as not having one.

Well said. We want to think everyone has a talent or skill. But the harsh reality of it is, not everyone has one...Sad, but true.

the second, however, is a capacity for achievement or success.
