it may not be a factor of intelligence but it makes you seem a helluva lot smarter than a nigga screamin, "mane dem niggas down da skreet be makin all dat noise n shit"

No, my grammar is quite good, and I spent sixty minutes trying to figure out why an eight digit number I dialed was answered by someone in the U.S.. In a moment of herp derp, I realized the first seven digits go through despite any other other numbers you may dial.

Herp derp or derp are very dumb words, they fall under the "unintelligent grammar" category.

Yes, that is exactly what I believe.

For it is impossible for one to be intelligent without having excellent grammar.

Unless you can find the grammatical error I made in this post, you are unintelligent.

i prefer people to think im dumb anyway..
it gives me the advantage..

but as far as grammar ..it can mean ur well read.. not necessarily intelligent..
u can not know how to read or write but know how to be well spoken..

and iv met a few intelligent bums in my day..
so even then.. intelligence doesnt equate to success.. and isnt that what this is all about at the end of the day??

No it just means you learned to use this country's version of English. Funny this thread is being made though, can't remember what show I was watching the other day but it was an American and a British person arguing, and the American actually told the British person "Speak correct English"...I changed the channel immediately

There is something to be said about one who masters the kings english. It doesnt equal intelligence per se, but theres nothing worse than an individual who is in his mid to late 30s and can speak nothing but slang.

It shows education, which can but doesn't always equate to intelligence.

I mean... look at all the dumb fucks from school... None of them kids got good grades.

Yes it does. You'd be hard pressed to find an unintelligent success. In anything, you must have the capacity to learn.
